2024-11-10
Polyglyceryl-3 diisostearate is a plant-derived ingredient, usually appearing as a yellow viscous liquid with a characteristic fatty acid scent. This ingredient is used as an emulsifier, aiding the mixing of water and oil ingredients by reducing their surface tension.
An effective non-ionic emulsifier for Water in Oil formulations. Polyglyceryl-3 diisostearate is exceptionally gentle on the skin and mild, which makes it ideal in products aimed at sensitive skin areas. The emulsifier is especially versatile during production, being both usable in Hot and Cold Process formulations. Suitable for both skin and hair formulations.
